Module 12 Video Review

1. Explain why you selected each of the TWO videos you choose from the selection listed above.
I selected each of these videos because they strike my interest based off of title. Out of the list provided, I found myself wanting to know more about these two clips.
2. For each video list/discuss the key concepts you learned.
I thought it was interesting the way the imprints works and how it is used amongst famous actresses. The process of printmaking is specific and creates images that are identical to the original. The sculpture of spaces is full of the artists background and why he develops his art in a way that is shown. The most popular design destinations were the most expensive and made it harder to get permission for plans such and the Bayfront park project.
3. How do the videos relate to the readings in the text?
Andy Warhol is described on page 508 of the textbook. He is photographed and described as a "machine" with two sides to his personality.
4. What is your opinion of the films? How do they add depth to understanding of the readings and art concepts?
I enjoyed both films I really enjoyed the Andy Warhol video more than the sculpture of spaces. I recognized his work and found it different the way he replaced painting with photography. Additionally, his obsession with celebrities was unique. Isamu Noguchi's video doesn't seem to match the textbook readings
