Inspirational Mask Designs:




GUATEMALA MASK:

This mask represents balance between the paint underlying features of the face and value throughout the horns. From light to dark it reveals texture as well. Color is represents by its intensity within the face paint.




CARIBBEAN MASK:

This mask represents texture throughout the top of the head to reveal a course hair-like feature. The color value can be interpreted as a middle gray with value of color added to the piece.



SOUTH AMERICAN MASK:

This mask has a great amount of texture shown at the bottom of the piece. The mask seems to be very symmetrical and has a limited spectrum of color added.

These are my sketches for my inspiration of my final mask. 

My final mask is made from recycled material. I used my Chipotle box to use as the head and the bag to give texture and life to the mask. A simple face was all I though it needed. This mask correlated with my sketches and I think it turned out well. Creating the mask was fun and enjoyable.
